Requirements

• Valid and current LVN license in the state
• Prior experience in senior care or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various scheduled shifts; PRN position with potential to lead into full-time status
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in senior care or long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to senior residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents’ comfort and safety
• Document resident care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility standards
