About The Position

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Victoria North is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for outpatient infusion on a PRN basis. Ideal applicants will possess a minimum of two years of experience in direct patient care in critical care environments, a high proficiency in working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, and a solid understanding of infusion therapy and medications. Experience in a hospital-based, acute care, critical care, or Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting is required, and prior experience in infusion therapy, especially with IV insertions and managing infusions, is highly desirable. Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
• Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report data related to patient care.
• Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures on patients.
• Ensure care is consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
