About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. At the Desert Riverside Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), we are here to help you find relief from distress and assist you in maintaining stability in your life. We believe recovery starts from within, and that our job is to do whatever it takes to help you cope with crisis and gain skills to deal with your challenges more effectively. Our 12-chair facility, serving up to 8 adults (aged 18 and above) and 4 adolescents (aged 13-17); has a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists who are all here to help you on your path.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure
