About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for the delivery of direct patient care of assigned patients under the supervision of the registered nurse. The LVN, utilizing Jean Watson's Nursing Theory of Caring and the Relationship Based Care Model, practices basic assessment (data collection), participates in planning, executes interventions in accordance with the care plan or treatment plan, and contributes to the evaluation of individualized interventions related to the care plan or treatment plan in accordance with the functional and developmental needs of each patient. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current California LVN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification.
• One year's experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a pleasant, cooperative, and courteous manner.

• Hourly Salary Range Min $40.40 - Max $44.53 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
