POSITION SUMMARY The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. Shift Availabilities: AM shift - 07:00am - 3:30pm PM shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pm NOC shift - 11:00pm- 7:30am Per Diem Requirements 6 shifts per month 4 Weekend days per month 2 hospital-defined holiday’s must be worked each year

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Minimum six (6) months as a LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred. Willing to train New Grad.
Licensed to practice vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
CPR certification, and successful completion of the hospital’s designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures.
May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
6 shifts per month
4 Weekend days per month
2 hospital-defined holiday’s must be worked each year
