Requirements

• Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• Minimum one (1) year current experience as a LVN preferred.
• Intravenous Therapy (IV) and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card from the American Heart Association.
• AB 508 Certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified).
• Emergency Department LVNs must pass the hospital's ECG interpretation test.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic care to employees and volunteers at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital.
• Administer immunizations, PPD skin tests, and N95 mask fit testing.
• Conduct annual health assessments and return to work clearances.
• Complete new employee health assessments and clearances.
• Maintain organized and confidential employee health records.
• Participate in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
