About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position at the California Institution for Women is a limited term role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months or becoming permanent. Under the supervision of the Nurse Consultant III and the clinical guidance of the Supervising Registered Nurse II, the LVN will assist in implementing the CalAIM for Justice Involved Initiative, Whole Person Care Program, Complete Care Model, and other clinical initiatives. The LVN will collaborate with the healthcare team and stakeholders to ensure timely pre-release health care services for patients eligible for release within 90 days, addressing their ongoing pre-release needs.
