About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a crucial role in supporting the Registered Nurse in delivering patient care. This position involves administering direct patient care, executing treatments as prescribed by physicians, and managing medication administration in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of a State Board Vocational School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Six (6) months experience preferred.
• Current LVN license with ability to practice in the State of Texas.
• AHA BLS certification within two (2) weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care.
• Administer direct patient care as required.
• Execute treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Administer medications according to hospital policy and procedure.
