Requirements

Two years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.

Responsibilities

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Proficient in all aspects of venipuncture
Ability to identify and triage genuine emergency cases
Experience with anesthesia monitoring
Competency in emergency, critical, and perioperative care
Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
