About The Position

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our patients and excellent service to our clients. From assisting with exams and surgeries to patient monitoring and record keeping, you’ll be a vital part of our team.

Requirements

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT) — required
At least 1 year of experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education/experience)

High school diploma or GED.
Required to be Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).

Nice To Haves

Preferably with at least one year experience in hospital.
May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Responsibilities

Perform patient exams, collect samples, run lab tests, and assist in diagnostics.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications/vaccines, and care for hospitalized patients.
Assist veterinarians in surgery and treatments, including prepping equipment and restraining animals.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate updates to pet owners as directed.
Ensure cleanliness of cages, treatment areas, and surgical tools; manage medical inventory.
Dispense medications, including controlled substances, following proper protocols.
Participate in discharge procedures, ensuring patients are clean, groomed, and ready to go home.
Uphold safety, hygiene, and legal compliance throughout all areas of care.
