Seeking a Veterinary Technician for Weekend Overnight Shifts! VCA Flannery Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our well-established, multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency/general practice in New Windsor, NY. Location: 789 Little Britain Rd, New Windsor, NY 12553 Schedule: Weekend 12-hour overnight shifts are typically 8am-8pm Why join the VCA team? The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture Catheter placement Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals Overnight care is typically a combination of care for hospitalized pets, triaging pets, the standard ER duties, occasional anesthesia.
