The Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) supports the operation of an animal hospital by providing medical care to patients in accordance with veterinary practice regulations. The LVT guides and trains medical support staff, ensures smooth workflow during shifts, and communicates effectively with team members and clients. Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in the following states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements: Alaska, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Kentucky.
