About The Position
We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team full time! Location: VCA Staten Island Animal Hospital Compensation: The pay range for this position is $29-$33/hr based on experience. (NYS Vet tech license is required) About Us Staten Island Animal Hospital has been serving the communities of Staten Island since the early 1940’s. Requirements
- NYS Vet tech license is required
- CVT, RVT, LVT
Responsibilities
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Radiology
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
