Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Hualapai is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our leadership team! The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. These skills will include, but are not limited to: • Venipuncture • catheter placement • radiology • anesthesia monitoring • physical examinations and patient assessment • surgical preparation and assisting • dentistry • laboratory work • pharmacy • patient recovery • compassionate care for our hospitalized patients This is a working supervisory position which is responsible for the leadership and of the Veterinary Technician Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
- Implementing department policies and procedures.
- Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
- Enforcing charge captures.
- Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
- Record keeping.
- Marketing.
- Facility maintenance.
