About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work overnight in our Emergency Urgent Care department. As an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will provide high quality patient care, monitor, manage and implement treatment plans as ordered by clinicians, and collaborate with clinicians throughout the hospital to coordinate and prioritize patient care. You will also clean and maintain clinical areas, facilitate the maintenance of clinical equipment, assist clinicians with procedures, complete diagnostic testing, and coach and mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Licensure as a Veterinary Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care.
• Monitor, manage and implement treatment plans as ordered by clinicians.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to members of the patient care team.
• Collaborate with clinicians throughout the hospital to coordinate and prioritize patient care.
• Clean and maintain clinical areas including treatment and patient housing areas.
• Facilitate the maintenance of clinical equipment by identifying malfunctioning equipment and scheduling service.
• Assist clinicians with procedures.
• Complete diagnostic testing as ordered by clinicians.
• Coach and mentor junior staff members as directed by supervisory staff.
