Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with advanced procedures, including surgery and anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, cytology, and radiographs
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments in accordance with state regulations
  • Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
