Requirements
- Current Virginia LVT license (required)
- Strong technical and animal-handling skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate approach to patients and clients
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
- Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and patient monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized and surgical patients, monitoring patients under general anesthesia.
- Educate clients on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment
- Work rotating holidays in kennel department
