Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with different people in high stress situations
• Triage and obtain patient history
• Perform venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters
• Utilize Dermatology terms
• Swab for Otic Cytology, and ear mite preparation
• Prepare for Skin Biopsy
• Recognize alopecia, nodules and tumors
• Perform Anesthesia monitoring
• Perform CPR
• Perform radiographs
• Perform diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients
• Be familiar and proficient with aseptic techniques
• Be familiar with laboratory procedures and practices
