Requirements

Experienced Veterinary Technician or Licensed Veterinary Technician, license must be current
2-3+ years of prior veterinary experience preferred.
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Proficient in technical skills
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Positive team player willing to continue to expand their knowledge and skills.
Must be able to work different shifts, and some rotating Saturdays.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
