About The Position

Position Summary: The Clinician will be responsible for a variety of services including assessments, treatment planning, participant education, documentation, and therapy sessions. Essential Duties: Maintain clinical supervision, including review of student (student/participant) files, and have the ability to perform initial and/or ongoing student (student/participant) assessments. Provide mental health structured therapeutic services. Provide gender-responsive, trauma-informed, structured treatment services, including implementation of trauma-informed curriculum. Provide individual, family, and group counseling Provide specialized classes and workshops relevant to the population (including Domestic Violence, Incest Survivors, Family Relationships, other topics as needed). Work with the Managing Director to develop and maintain the program culture. Ensure the program has family-focused services and is trauma-informed. Integrate the assessed and stated goals of student (participants) work in coordination with the ARC/JCOD staff in determining continuum of care services for student (participants) including educational and vocational planning. Participate in case conferences. Responsible for all aspects of medical, dental, mental health related appointments, including making appointments, follow-up, arranging transportation and prescriptions.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Another professional licensed by the State of California to provide mental health services in California.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing trauma-informed services preferably to women.
  • Within six (6) weeks of hire, obtain First Aid and CPR certification AND pass a physical examination and tuberculosis test from a health professional.
