About The Position

iMind Health LLC (D/B/A iMind Behavioral Health) is hiring a Licensed Therapist/Clinician to join our Child and Adolescent Services, also known as Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS). This role serves youth ages 5–17 and includes two primary responsibilities: 1. School- and community-based mobile crisis response for children/adolescents and their families/caregivers 2. Short-term stabilization services (up to 120 days) through outpatient-style therapy and care coordination Services are delivered in schools and community settings, in the office, and via telehealth. Mobile crisis response is delivered in-person; stabilization services may be delivered in-person and/or via telehealth based on clinical need. Maryland licenses accepted (active and in good standing): LCPC, LGPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C Shift options (8 hours): 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM Full-time schedule: Five (5) 8-hour shifts per week; schedules are set in advance. Travel: Company vehicle provided while on shift for travel to schools and other community sites within Prince George’s County. Coverage: No weekends and no on-call for this position. Optional weekend and/or on-call shifts may be available in other programs within the organization for interested clinicians.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Active Maryland license in good standing: LCPC, LGPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
  • Experience providing clinical services to children/adolescents and families/caregivers.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to make independent decisions when needed.
  • Proficiency with computers and clinical documentation systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful completion of required background check and required training.

Nice To Haves

  • Mobile crisis response experience (school-based and/or community-based).
  • Outpatient stabilization, community mental health, or crisis program experience.
  • Familiarity with Prince George’s County resources and referral networks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate on-site assessment, de-escalation, safety planning, and clinical intervention for youth and families in crisis.
  • Work as part of a two-person mobile team addressing mental/behavioral health and substance use–related crises.
  • Communicate client needs and clinical recommendations to multidisciplinary staff and collaborate for coordinated responses.
  • Maintain an active short-term stabilization caseload based on program needs and client acuity.
  • Provide weekly or bi-weekly sessions based on clinical need and treatment goals.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments promptly (typically within 72 hours of referral, based on clinical priority and scheduling).
  • Develop short-term, stabilization-focused treatment plans collaboratively with youth and families/caregivers.
  • Conduct mental health assessments and make appropriate internal/external referrals.
  • Assess for referrals to Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) and/or Mobile Treatment Services (MTS) during the assessment process, as clinically indicated.
  • Connect youth and families to community resources (school supports, benefits, employment supports, etc.).
  • Utilize engagement and harm-reduction approaches as clinically appropriate, including education and access to naloxone when relevant.
  • Coordinate with peer support staff as applicable and ensure services align with program standards.
  • Complete documentation accurately and on time in accordance with program, payer, and regulatory standards.
  • Meet productivity expectations for client-facing services; targets vary based on crisis coverage, acuity, and program needs and are reviewed during onboarding.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical/professional standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.
