Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active, unrestricted South Carolina license (LMSW, LISW-CP, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children/adolescents in behavioral health or residential settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a structured residential setting
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment based on clinical need
  • Serve as the primary liaison to parents/guardians
  • Provide regular updates on progress, treatment goals, and discharge planning
  • Facilitate family involvement in therapy and care planning
  • Support families in preparing for successful transition post-discharge
  • Partner with nursing, clinical, and operations teams
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
  • Provide guidance to direct care staff to support treatment plan implementation
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation including: Assessments, Treatment plans, Progress notes and Discharge summaries
  • Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and active treatment
  • Support discharge planning from admission through transition
  • Coordinate with families and external providers
  • Develop aftercare recommendations and continuity plans
  • Respond to behavioral health crises
  • Support staff with intervention strategies and de-escalation
