About The Position

The position involves providing evidence-based treatment for adults referred to the Behavioral Health Clinic. The role includes providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments, assisting in establishing and maintaining a referral base, and supporting the Clinic's clinical training program. The clinician is expected to provide psychotherapy services to clients each week, conduct clinical assessments, meet monthly clinical productivity expectations, and provide clinical consultation with the referral base for coordinating care for clients. Ongoing education related to clinical psychology and clinical assessment and intervention is also required, along with participation in clinical training activities and providing training in various psychological topics for Clinic staff.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, and/or counseling psychology required.
  • Completed an APA approved internship or equivalent required.
  • Experience providing psychological services to adults required.
  • Licensed (or licensable) Psychologist, Counselor, or Mental Health Practitioner in the state in which practicing required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base from Boys Town, medical providers, other treatment providers, and the general community.
  • Provides clinical consultation with referral base for the purpose of coordinating care for clients.
  • Obtains ongoing education related to the fields of clinical psychology and clinical assessment and intervention.
  • Participates in clinical training activities and provides training in various psychological topics for Clinic staff.
