About The Position
Centered in the heart of Montebello, Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello has a 70-year history of providing quality healthcare to the community. We are comprised of a 192-bed hospital, wound care medical office and surgical and laboratory services. Job Summary: Performs the operation, maintenance and minor repair of all the Central Plant equipment which includes but is not limited to: boilers, chillers, emergency generators, medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, water pumps, water softeners, cooling towers, automation systems, and all related equipment necessary to maintain the plant in good operating conditions.
Requirements
- State-certified licensure as relevant to trade: Required
- Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
- L.A. City Engineer: Required in Los Angeles County Facility Specific License/Certifications
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
- Department Specific License/Certifications: Engineer (LMSC): Required

Responsibilities
- Monitors equipment condition to ensure functioning within operating standards.
- Schedules and performs minor maintenance to plant equipment.
- Coordinates work with other internal and external resources.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
