Requirements

• Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors Degree
• Preferred: Masters Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• Minimum Experience: Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
• Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
• Licensure/Certifications: Required: Licensed/Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• Other: First Aid Athletic Training and Certification, Phlebotomy Certification (will train if necessary)

Responsibilities

• Work in a clinical setting as a physician extender within a University Sports Medicine Program.
• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, education, rehabilitation planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, treatment, and equipment fitting.
• Supports physicians during outreach events and provides athletic training services to affiliated schools per NATA guidelines.
• Contributes to program growth through marketing, educational material development, and wellness event coordination.
• Ensures patient satisfaction, helps families navigate the system, and collaborates with program directors and providers.
