About The Position

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a part-time role in a welcoming and supportive environment with availability to see students on weekdays during daytime and/or afternoon hours in the home, school, or center setting. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated support team and provide essential speech and language services to children. Requirements

  • Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
  • Valid Licensure and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents regularly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
