About The Position

The Licensed Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A) reports to the Division Director. Provide a wide variety of direct therapeutic social worker services in an outpatient psychiatric setting for a complex caseload of patients including psychosocial assessment, active treatment, case management, and related documentation in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Interviews client, family and any other providers to assess the patient's level of functioning, strengths and deficits, and emotional status. Develops a comprehensive picture of the client's service and treatment needs. Serves as a member of the treatment team in the diagnostic evaluation of clients and the identification of treatment objectives.

Requirements

• Licensed Social Worker (LISW): Master's Degree in Social Work or Social Welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC): Master's Degree in Counseling or related field for LPC from an accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A): Master's Degree in Counseling or related field for LPC-A from an accredited program.
• At least four years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or from a social work program or social welfare program offered by a regionally accredited institution.
