The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Division of Forensics is seeking a Social Worker to provide direct care and case management to patients in a clinic setting. Provide a wide variety of direct social worker services for a complex caseload of patients/clients including psychosocial assessment, active treatment, discharge planning, case management, and related documentation in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary forensic/and or treatment team. The primary role in this position is providing services for a wide variety of court ordered forensic evaluations. The responsibilities for the position include obtaining psychosocial information, review and summarizing all pertinent legal and medical records, and shared report writing. The SW also serves as a second examiner on court ordered evaluations under the supervision of the forensic physician or forensic psychologist.
