Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers for Greater Chicago, IL School Districts. As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home. No experience as a bus driver is required! We're proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Willingness to obtain a valid CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving with ride share companies or taxi services.
• Teaching or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct before-school pickup and after-school drop-off for students.
• Ensure the safety of students during transportation.
• Complete training provided by the company.
• Maintain a clean driving record.

Benefits

• $23 / hour- $30 / hour starting wage, based on experience and location.
• Training rate at state minimum wage.
• $5,000 sign on bonus for fully licensed drivers if training is completed within 5 days.
• $3,000 sign on bonus for fully licensed drivers if training is completed in more than 5 days.
