About The Position

As a Residential Property Manager, you’ll support the full cycle of property management across your assigned portfolio. Success means keeping occupancy high, ensuring smooth communication with owners and tenants, and helping the office run effectively during Davis’s high-volume summer turnover cycle.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly
  • Reliable vehicle for local travel (required)
  • Hardworking, organized, and comfortable managing details under time pressure
  • Active California real estate license (required), even if you are early in your career

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AppFolio or zInspector
  • Knowledge of UC Davis student rental market cycles

Responsibilities

  • Market, show, and lease properties to qualified tenants
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with accuracy
  • Respond to tenant and owner inquiries with professionalism
  • Collect rent and support lease enforcement
  • Coordinate maintenance requests with vendors and track progress
  • Manage renewals to maximize retention and minimize vacancy
  • Prepare properties quickly and efficiently for re-listing
