The Role We seek a compassionate, culturally competence, and skilled psychologist who thirves in a collaborative environment and is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of our community. As a full-time or part-time Licensed Psychologist at Alluma, you will play an essential role in identifying psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This position works in a clinic environment with other mental health professionals and a diverse client population, including individuals, families, and groups. You'll have the flexibility to shape your caseload to include psychotherapy, psychological testing, or a combination, depending on your interests and competencies.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and completion of Pre-doctoral Clinical Internship.
  • Licensed (or licensable) as a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota.
  • 1+ year of relevant experience; experience in community mental health setting is preferred.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver's license.
  • demonstrated ability to function within legal and ethical boundaries consistent with the scope of personal practice or personal licensure, HIPAA guidelines, and other local, state, or federal regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, group therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide individual, group and family therapy to address a variety of psychological concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients.
  • Assess and modify treatment plans as needed, responding to challenging circumstances and crises with appropriate interventions.
  • Document and maintain detailed client records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
  • May provide clinical supervision.
  • Engage in community education and prevention services as needed.
