Requirements

  • Possess a doctoral degree(PhD/PsyD) in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or school psychology with a track record in providing in psychological assessment.
  • Maintain current licensure via the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP)/Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC)
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are highly valued, enhancing communication and care.
  • At least five (5) years of employment as a psychologist with training across a wide range of assessments/testing batteries.
  • Exhibit cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written, and possess robust organizational abilities.
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, ensuring a safe and trusted healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred candidates will have at least two years of assessment experience.
  • Early career candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, deliver written reports ,and provision of feedback sessions to patients and caregivers.
  • Adhere to c clinical practice policies and join dynamic case conference meetings to enhance treatment plans.
  • Collaboration and participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team with clinicians including pediatricians, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, therapist, , and social worker to orchestrate a holistic treatment approach.
  • Engage in professional development through trainings and workshops in addition to completion of Continuing Education requirements.
  • Evaluation conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), cognitive evaluations, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) across diverse patient populations.
  • Administer psychological testing for both children and adults using in person and telehealth methodologies.
  • Provide evidence based psychotherapy and interventions tailored to mental health diagnoses.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team conferences, championing a safe and inclusive environment for all.
