About The Position

Licensed Psychologists provide psychological testing, evaluation, psychotherapy, counseling, and consultation to clients or inmates in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings, at a mental health, intellectual disabilities, or correctional facility, or in other settings where psychological services are provided. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (SNAMHS) is recruiting for Licensed Psychologist 1 positions at Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas. Duties include formulating behavior plans and token economy programs; conducting competency evaluations, psychological assessments, risk assessments; & assisting in crisis intervention. Requirements

• Licensed Psychologist in the state of Nevada
• Advanced-level knowledge and proficiency in psychology
