About The Position

Join a fast-growing, multi-discipline engineering environment delivering HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection designs across commercial, institutional, industrial, and healthcare projects. As a Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE), you’ll lead system design, mentor junior staff, and coordinate closely with electrical, civil, and structural teammates to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• Active PE (Mechanical).
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit/BIM.
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and state/local mechanical codes.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to forensic/failure analysis (plus, not required).
• LEED accreditation or sustainability/green-building experience.
• Energy modeling (e.g., Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP).
• Field coordination / construction management experience.
• Broad project type experience; client-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/engineering for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selections.
• Produce construction drawings, specs, and details in AutoCAD/Revit (BIM).
• Conduct site visits, review submittals, and support construction administration.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams for integrated MEP delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers/designers and perform QA/QC on deliverables.
• Support client meetings, schedules, budgets, and light project management.
