RCSA is looking for a dedicated and compassionate therapist to provide trauma-informed services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and other behavioral health challenges. GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE The Therapist is responsible for providing trauma-informed individual therapeutic services to support children who have a DSM-5 Diagnosis or IDD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Therapist is expected to diagnose clients within 72 hours of intake and re-evaluate every six months to assess client progress through clinical goals. The Therapist is also responsible for an initial treatment plan within 14 days of intake and updates the treatment plan every 90 days. What You’ll Do: Provide individual therapy to children with behavioral, developmental, and emotional challenges. Complete diagnostic assessments within 72 hours of intake; reassess every 6 months. Develop and update treatment plans based on measurable clinical goals (initial plan due within 14 days, updated every 90 days). Deliver services in a variety of settings: residential homes, in-office, or community-based/in-home sessions. Collaborate with caregivers, caseworkers, legal advocates (e.g., CASA), and other members of the child’s treatment team. Share in on-call crisis response rotation with a supportive team of therapists and behavioral specialists. Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
