About The Position

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Clinicians (LGPC or LCPC) to join our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC). Our OMHC provides traditional outpatient counseling and a comprehensive range of mental health services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individual, family, and group therapy. As a Clinician, you will serve as a vital member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, collaborating closely with medical prescribers and other professionals to deliver high-quality, integrated mental health care. Our clinic serves a diverse population experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, schizophrenia, and other serious mental illnesses. As a primary mental health provider for your clients, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to improve the well-being of individuals and families in our community.

Requirements

  • Active licensure in the State of Maryland as an LGPC or LCPC, in good standing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of training or direct experience providing mental health services.
  • Ability to conduct DSM-5 diagnostic assessments.
  • Proficiency with standardized screening and assessment tools (e.g., PHQ-A, GAD-7).
  • Ability to effectively engage and work with both children and adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness and ability to attend required trainings and staff meetings.
  • Ability to educate participants and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery planning.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including Psychosocial Assessments, and complete documentation in a timely manner in accordance with iMind standards.
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting therapeutic relationships with participants.
  • Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with participants, based on assessed needs and goals.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services using evidence-based and strength-based treatment modalities.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and professionals to coordinate appropriate and effective care.
  • Engage family members in the treatment process when clinically appropriate.
  • Complete referrals for Mobile Treatment Services (MTS) and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation of participant progress and services provided.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain strict client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies.
  • Serve as a client advocate by coordinating services and responding effectively to crisis situations, including emergency interventions when necessary.
  • Complete Emergency Petitions when clinically indicated.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
