About The Position
We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join a remote behavioral health team serving clients through telehealth. This position focuses on providing counseling, guiding treatment, and helping clients address challenges that affect daily life, relationships, and emotional well-being. The work is centered on direct care, progress monitoring, and maintaining a steady clinical presence in a virtual environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Mississippi
- At least 2 years of counseling experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Comfortable using online platforms and electronic health record systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling is preferred
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients virtually for scheduled counseling appointments
- Evaluate mental health concerns and recommend appropriate treatment approaches
- Develop clear, measurable treatment plans and update them as needed
- Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation
- Provide support for common mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions
- Build professional rapport with clients while maintaining boundaries
