About The Position
We’re hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a part-time telehealth opening. This role involves working directly with clients in a virtual setting to provide counseling, identify treatment needs, and support progress through structured sessions and ongoing care planning. The counselor will handle assessments, documentation, follow-up care, and therapeutic intervention for clients experiencing a range of mental health and life-related concerns.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active Georgia LPC license in good standing
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth systems and electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with clients
Responsibilities
- Provide remote counseling sessions using a secure online platform
- Gather client history and conduct clinical assessments
- Establish treatment goals and appropriate counseling approaches
- Complete progress notes and required documentation in a timely manner
- Help clients work through emotional stress, behavioral concerns, and life transitions
- Evaluate outcomes and adjust treatment direction as needed
