About The Position
A part-time opportunity is available for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide virtual counseling services in a remote setting. This role includes conducting therapy sessions, assessing client needs, setting treatment goals, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The day-to-day work is direct and client-focused, with an emphasis on consistency, professionalism, and practical mental health support.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
- Active Georgia LPC license
- Previous experience in counseling or therapy preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Familiarity with telehealth systems and electronic charting
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients
- Assess presenting concerns and collect client history
- Create and maintain individualized treatment plans
- Complete session notes and required documentation
- Support clients with coping strategies and goal-based care
- Review treatment progress and make clinical updates as needed
