Requirements

• For LPC / MSW Candidates: Master's degree in counseling or social work with current licensure.
• Familiarity with evidence-based approaches for justice-involved populations.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Dedication to cultural competence and working with diverse communities.
• For Psych RN Candidates: Minimum 2 years psychiatric nursing experience.
• Comfortable working with a variety of diagnoses (substance abuse, personality disorders, psychosis).
• Shifts per assigned schedule; must pass background check.

Nice To Haves

• Correctional experience is a plus-but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and ongoing evaluations of mental health needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans focused on stabilization, skill-building, and successful re-entry.
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions on substance abuse, trauma, anger management, coping skills, and more.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team-including corrections staff, medical professionals, and probation officers-to provide holistic care.
• Connect clients with both internal programs and community resources for lasting support.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation and stay up-to-date on best practices in correctional mental health.
