About The Position
The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) will provide short-term, evidence-based psychotherapy to adults within a multidisciplinary health care team. This position contributes to improved patient outcomes by integrating behavioral health interventions into the primary care model.
Requirements
- Master’s in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Doctorate in Psychology.
- Current California license or registration (LCSW, Psychologist, ASW, or AMFT).
- Minimum one year of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and patient documentation standards.
Nice To Haves
- Integrated care or community mental health experience.
- Spanish fluency preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and establish treatment goals.
- Deliver brief therapy using CBT, behavioral activation, or related modalities.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care reviews and consultations.
- Identify risk factors and coordinate referrals for additional services.
- Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and organizational policies.
