LICENSED PRACTICAL/VOCATIONAL NURSE – FCC Victorville Work Location Federal Correctional Complex 13777 Air Expressway Blvd Victorville, CA 92394 Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance Requirements: National Background Check with Inquiries and Fingerprints, and Drug Screen. Period of Performance: Estimated: 01 January 2026 – 31 December 2030 Type of Employment: 40 hours per week; Estimated Pay: TBD Working Hours The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse will provide services when requested, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. 160 estimated sessions per week normally consisting of eight (8) hour days, and an optional 120 workdays not to exceed 240 workdays in a 24-month period. Any time worked in day constitutes one (1) workday. Work hours will normally be between 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The contractor employee(s) shall not exceed 40 hours per week. Qualifications Must be certified to practice medicine in the state of California. 1+ years of experience CPR certification in accordance with the American Heart Association Basic Life Support. Summary of Duties: Provides direct patient care within the scope of licensure by administering medications, assisting with clinical procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and responding to medical emergencies under appropriate supervision. Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to infection control and safety protocols, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support effective patient care. Attire The contractor employee is required to dress appropriately for the work environment. This includes business attire or scrubs. No khaki or green scrubs. The attire worn shall also be appropriate for the correctional environment in which the contract employee will be performing services. FCC Victorville will not be responsible for providing a uniform allowance. Jeans (of any color), T-shirts, sandals (of any type), tank tops, and sweatpants/shirts are not considered appropriate professional attire.
