About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. He/she provides direct and indirect patient care in acute care, skilled care, Dialysis and/or urgent care setting. Communicates with the registered nurse and/or physician about changes in patient's condition, including clinical findings and diagnostic results. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Participates in performance improvement and clinical quality initiatives (CQI) activities. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all assigned departments with adequate supervision.
