About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care to patients on the skilled nursing unit works under the direction of a registered nurse collects data, administers medications, documents and performs nursing procedures competently as ordered Additional Unit Details 17 bed short term Skilled Nursing Facility one of few remaining hospital based SNFs CMS 5-star overall rating above average RN/LPN/Nurse Aide hours per resident per day access to 24/7 emergency care on-site work to the top of your license (medication administration, physical assessments, wound care, IV line care) focus on rehabilitation and discharge to home generous weekend and shift differentials offers self-scheduling

Requirements

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective time management skills
Must have valid driver's license
