About The Position
Overview Otterbein is a not-for-profit, faith-based ministry that is a national leader and innovator in retirement living communities and long-term care. Otterbein is seeking a PRN Hospice LPN , to assist with on call needs, continuous care and routine visits to our patients. Otterbein Hospice compliments already strong independent senior services, outpatient capabilities and clinical facilities at Otterbein, by adding to the continuum of care. Requirements
- Graduate of approved nursing program
- Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, CPR
- A minimum of 2 – 4 years’ direct patient care experience in hospice or home care
- Licensed drivers with automobiles in good working condition and have automobile insurance in accordance with Ohio laws.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care to patients
- Support families and caregivers
- Work closely with the RN Case Manager
- Comply with Hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation, and Ohio Department of Health regulatory requirements.
