As a Nurse at BAMSI, you will be an essential part of our community-based group homes for adults with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, and/or mental illness. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with those you care for and their families.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in MA
• Driver’s license
• Reliable car
• Experience supporting mental health needs (personal or professional)
• Clear communication skills
• Basic computer use
• Teamwork skills
• Fluency in English

Nice To Haves

• Active RN license in MA
• Multilingual skills

Responsibilities

• Manage medical care and medications for persons served, including training staff on safe medication practices.
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate crises with persons served.
• Train staff on health/safety rules and document incidents as required.
• Keep programs up to date with medical and medication laws, including paperwork and inspections.
