Requirements

Applicants capable of multi-tasking with high attention to detail for our fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Obtain vital signs (temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight)
Insert saline locks
Perform both basic and advanced cardiac life support
Apply sterile dressings
Remove sutures or staples
Assist with pelvic examinations
Perform EKGs
Cleanse and irrigate wounds
Administer oral medications
Apply various splints (volar, thumb Spica, ulnar gutter, posterior leg splints)
Initiate routine lab tests
Swab mucous membranes for cultures
Administer and read TB skin tests
Perform venipuncture
Give medications via intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal routes
Flexibility for cross-training and handling tasks outside the usual scope is required
