About The Position

LPN Full-Time |Day Shift| $27.81-$35.02 per hour, based on years of experience and licensure date Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Occasional Tuesdays Until 7:00 PM Kendal at Ithaca is a large, diverse Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering meaningful nursing opportunities and room for career growth. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our vibrant population of independent living residents by providing access to healthcare services that emphasize wellness, prevention, and proactive care . About the Role This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working with older adults and values being part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to supporting residents as their healthcare needs evolve. The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of licensed healthcare providers and plays an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents living independently within our community.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Proficient computer skills required
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling systems, and Microsoft programs

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Support daily clinical workflow and resident health needs
• Provide first aid and basic medical response when needed
• Assist with occupational health tasks
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care
• Assist residents in navigating and meeting their changing healthcare needs
