Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients through a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This includes patient care management, communication, and maintaining an organized care environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program (required)
  • 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
  • Licensed to practice as an LPN in the state (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Basic nursing duties and clinical judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to treat all individuals with fairness, respect, and cultural sensitivity

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for exams, verify information, and record medical history.
  • Take and record vital signs; escalate critical cases to the Provider.
  • Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG).
  • Administer medications and treatments under Provider supervision.
  • Perform immunizations, nebulizer treatments, TB tests, and visual acuity screenings.
  • Maintain and stock exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas.
  • Manage medical records and scan documents to patient files.
  • Answer phone calls and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Conduct patient follow-up calls and maintain reception area.
  • Perform opening/closing duties, including cash handling and securing the building.
  • Complete daily equipment checks and submit repair tickets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
