The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities that align with their education and demonstrated competencies. This PRN position requires 4 shifts per month, with one being a weekend. Initially, the role will frequently assist with an open MHC position, but after it's filled, coverage will primarily be for vacations or call-ins, requiring flexibility in the 4-shift requirement. Shift times are 8-hour shifts from 0700-1530, with some flexibility as long as coverage is maintained during normal business hours.
